1. When can you start work on my web site?

  • If a deposit is required, work will begin after it has been received.
  • We have received the necessary logos, photos, artwork, text, etc.
  • You have signed and returned the Production Agreement (We will send this document to you following our initial consultation)

2. Can you simply take the web site I already have and make it look and function better for a cheaper price?

  • That sounds like a great idea. However, from a design point of view, it is easier to simply recreate your site from the ground up.

3. When is a deposit required?

  • Deposits are required on many large scale and commence sites. We will determine if a deposit is required prior to beginning your project. The sum is typically 25% of the total cost.

4. How will screen size and colors be addressed?

  • Unless otherwise stipulated, we design sites for 800x600 screen resolution.
  • We generally work in 16-bit (thousands of colors). Whenever possible, we try to maintain web-safe colors for backgrounds and large sections of solid colors.

5. When will the web site be completed?

  • Usually, it takes 2-3 weeks to create a modest Web site after we have received all of the relevant materials.
  • Corporate sites can take 4-8 weeks or longer depending upon complexity.
  • It may take longer if we need to revise design elements to meet your needs.
  • It may take longer if the client does not respond to questions that may arise concerning the design, content, or functionality of the site.

6. Can I make changes?

  • We will create an initial design for you based on our consultation.
  • You may make one round of design changes to the design you choose.
  • Other design changes will be performed at an hourly rate to be determined prior to work.
  • You may make any basic text changes in the content of your site that you would like at any time during the design process.
